New Research activities / highlights:
The NOAA Fisheries Toolbox (NFT) is a suite of biological modeling software programs that can be used in fisheries stock assessments, the Toolbox version 3 is now available (http://nft.nefsc.noaa.gov/)
The National Systematics Lab has updated their website (http://www.nefsc.noaa.gov/nsl/mainpage/)
The NE Salmon Team program has a new website (http://www.nefsc.noaa.gov/salmon/)
The Office of Marine Ecosystem Studies has released it spring advisory
Other News: GARM (Groundfish Assessment Review Meetings) in progress provide updated assessment of approx. 20 species/stocks.
